The purpose of University Honors at Virginia Tech is to provide assistance for the academically talented student to make choices that will serve the long-term interests of the individual well and create leadership opportunities within a global environment.
Gaining such a superior education is hard work and involves linking students to a number of people who can assist in reaching this lofty goal. The student's course advisor, members of the Honors staff, a mentor, and a number of talented faculty members who know the system in an up-close and personal way are all part of the organized process at Virginia Tech.
