A Human Development Graduate Student Association was
established for the purpose of promoting academic and
professional exchange and cooperation among students
and between faculty and students. The Association seeks
to provide support for new students through its newsletter
and its collective efforts to enhance the graduate school
experience.
The group meets each month during the school year and
sponsors additional events and activities as needs and
interest arise. A fall party for all HD faculty and graduate
students is sponsored by the HDGSA in cooperation with
the HD faculty. The HDGSA is responsible for choosing
two representatives. The main duties of the two representatives
are to attend monthly HD committee meetings, to attend
the GSA meetings, to plan the fall party and other duties
as may be necessary. The participation of all graduate
students is welcomed.
